Welcome!

I am an economist and PhD student at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. I do research in political economy and development, with a focus on identity, culture, and social networks.

Most of my current work is based in inter-ethnic high schools in Macedonia, where I study how students from different ethnicities influence each other, and how cross-group cooperation can increase cohesion. This work is supported by J-PAL, The Pearson Institute, and the Becker Friedman Institute.
